Who should apply for 191 Visa?
From 16 November 2022, if you are in Australia and have held a provisional 491 or 494 visa for the last 3 years, you can apply for permanent residence in Australia via the Subclass 191 Permanent Residence (Skilled – Regional) visa which is valid for 5 years. You can include family members in your 191 visa application.
For Hong Kong Stream applicants, at the time of application, must have an eligible visa: subclass 457, 482 or 485 visa and hold a Hong Kong or British National (Overseas) passport when you apply. You must have been usually resident in a designated regional area of Australia for a continuous period of at least 3 years.
